Dr. Howard F. Cooke was born in Jamaica. He won a full academic scholarship at age 18 to pursue Dentistry in St. Petersburg, Russia and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree in 1992.
Dr. Cooke completed his specialty training in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas and in 1997 he served as chief resident. Dr. Cooke is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Fellow of the American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and an Associate Member of the American College of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Cooke has lectured locally and nationally on various topics in Oral and Facial Reconstruction.
Dr. Cooke maintains active hospital affiliations with Charlton Methodist Hospital, Methodist Medical Center of Dallas, and Baylor Medical Center at Waxahachie.
Dr. Cooke is fluent in Russian and was a triathlete.
Dr. Howard Cooke is committed to making a difference in the health care of the underserved. He believes that even small changes can make a big impact in one’s life. Dr. Cooke is committed to spending time helping the underserved in Jamaica providing his services free of charge to various charities around the island of Jamaica, the latest being Ambassador International.
